This is an opportunity to join a specialised accountancy practice dealing with medical practitioners, NHS consultants, GP practices and dentists. There are over 3,000 clients in total.
They are looking for a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA) to handle a portfolio of clients. The role requires the following:
- dealing with all aspects of client tax affairs, including preparation of accounts and tax returns;
- telephone calls to clients and HMRC;
- face-to-face meetings with clients;
- handling HMRC enquiries;
- general taxation advice, including CGT and IHT;
- advice regarding limited company v partnership/sole trader etc.
The successful candidate will need to have the following:
- experience in dealing with all aspects of accounts for small businesses and personal taxation;
- strong interpersonal and IT skills;
- good technical expertise.
The role is autonomous with the opportunity to grow into one with greater responsibility.
