This is the ideal role for a dedicated and hard working junior accounting professional looking to develop their career with a successful, growing and innovative company.
Working within a small team as a Purchase Ledger Clerk, you will be responsible for coding, checking and posting purchase invoices, reconciling product cost prices across multiple databases and various other administrative tasks. With a presence in 20 international markets, 12 cross boarder VAT registrations and a multi company structure; this is a great opportunity to learn from an accounts team managing a large and complex workload.
To be considered for the role of Purchase Ledger Clerk, you must;
- Have basic accounting knowledge (such as double entry-bookkeeping, basic costing principles, purchase, sales and general ledgers)
- Be computer literate and able to use databases and financial software packages such as Sage
- Be great with numbers, methodical, organised and have a good attention to detail
- Have the ability to work quickly and accurately without constant supervision
Although not essential, any experience in an accounting/financial department would be beneficial to your application.
