Account Manager - Field Sales (Home based with one day in the London office)

Remuneration: GBP32,000 -GBP37,000 (inc car allowance) + GBP50,000 OTE Year 1 (uncapped) with potential to grow to GBP60,000 by year 2 GBP75,000 Y3 onwards

Benefits: Laptop, mobile, all travel paid for & 45p per mile for first 10,000 miles and 25p per mile thereafter if using car

J2 Recruitment is proud to be representing a market leading Umbrella company that provide payroll services and workforce management solutions to organisations and contractors throughout the UK and are looking for an Account Manager to cover the London area.

The company is a leading player in the industry and has a fantastic reputation as well as being renowned as a brilliant place to work, taking staff out on all expenses paid events once a month. In addition to an excellent basic of up to GBP37,000 there is a realistic OTE of GBP50,000 in year 1 with the opportunity to build this up to 75k+ by year 3. Benefits include a laptop, mobile, pension and you will also be able to claim mileage expenses at 45p per mile.

As an Account Manager you will be working with large blue chip accounts (leading names in the recruitment industry) proactively nurturing relationships with recruitment consultants and agencies to gain referrals of business by providing a first class level of customer service in line with the brand on a day to-day basis.

In addition to attending meetings to hunt for new business there is a massive social side to this role with you taking contacts out for dinner, drinks or on hospitality events (football/racing etc).

This role would suit someone who loves socialising and building relationships with people. You will be building relationships with Recruitment Consultants and Managers and getting them to refer on contractors/temp workers they deal with to offer them a much more tax efficient way of being paid through the industry leading payroll services this company offer.

The successful Account Manager will be required to demonstrate the following skills and attributes;

* 3 years' experience within field sales / face to face sales and a strong track record of success.
* This role will be perfect for a polished business to business commercial sales person / account manager or perhaps a recruitment consultant who understands the contractor market looking for the next step.
* Someone who has loads of personality and will really enjoy the entertainment side of things, taking people out for drinks, coffee, meals, hospitality etc
* Excellent sales skills - able to you win business on value add and not simply price and a consultative and polished approach.
* A good standard of education and good financial dexterity is essential for this position.
