JOB: PRIMARY LEAD TEACHER

START DATE: April 2017

SALARY: GBP32,000 - GBP38,000

An independent Academy, located in Bedfordshire, are seeking to appoint a Lead Teacher for their junior school. This is a full time, permanent post to commence in April 2017, paying GBP32,000 - GBP38,000 (negotiable for the right candidate).

The school has a junior school and a senior school. They are a non-fee paying school, however they are independently funded. The trust they are a part of invest heavily in developing their staff and promote a culture of independent learning with their students. They are seeking a Primary Lead Teacher who can lead the junior school, ensuring that standards across the school are high.

You will be an experienced senior leader with a strong background in primary education. You will lead the junior school, reporting in to the Headteacher, maintaining excellent standards I attainment and achievement. You will work collaboratively with the Headteacher and your school staff, holding your senior leaders and teachers to account. You will work with the senior school leaders to support the transition from KS2 to KS3.
