The machine shop is well organised, structured and clean and offers staff an onsite canteen working within high end manufacturing facilities. Pay Rates/ Hours: Shift Pattern - x1 Week of Mornings, x1 Week of Nights - x1 Week of Afternoons
Mon-Fri - 06:00-14:00 & 14:00-22:00 = GBP11.87 Per Hour
Mon-Thur - 22:00-06:00 = GBP13.41 Per Hour
Fri - 22:00-06:00 = GBP15.09 Per Hour
Sat - 06:00-18:00 = GBP11.87 Per Hour
Sun - 06:00-18:00 = GBP13.41 Per Hour
Sat-Sun - 18:00-06:00 = GBP16.76 Per Hour
Overtime rates: Time and ??
Background required: Must have previous CNC Turning/Lathe experience within a precision engineering environment.
The ideal CNC Turner/Machinist will possess as many of the following as possible in order to strengthen the application:
- Time Served Apprenticeship
- Competent to run multiple machines - Highly beneficial if the candidate can operate a number of machines in this machine shop precision engineering environment.
- Competent to set and operate
- Basic online editing skills
- Manual machining skills highly beneficial
- The desire to progress and use a range of other CNC operated machinery
In return for your experience as CNC Turner we can offer you:
Salary: GBP11.87-GBP16.76 Dependant on shift + Overtime readily available
25 working days annual holidays plus bank holidays
