JOB DESCRIPTION

I am looking for an experienced Quality Engineer to join one of the leading manufacturers in the automotive industry worldwide.

Overview

Quality Engineer - GBP30,000 - GBP35,000 - Automotive Experience Needed

My Client is looking for a skilled Quality Engineer to join their well-established team. The role is commutable from the Stafford, Cannock, Walsall and surrounding areas. The successful Quality Engineer will have experience working in the Automotive industry, ideally with experience of TS16949, and will have working knowledge of APQP activities and PPAP submissions.

Role of the Quality Engineer:

To be an integral part of a team ensuring company objectives are achieved. This will involve collating & analysing performance data against defined KPI's.
To work on process related projects establishing root cause and improvement actions.
To support activities relating to customer related issues.
Work with Continual Improvement projects across all activities within the company.
To support New Business Development, APQP and NPI activities.
To investigate internal processes and Audits to ensure that the company maintains accreditation to TS16949, ISO 9000 and ISO 14001.
To work as needed with customers and suppliers to improve quality performance.
Requirements:

Must have experience working in the Automotive industry, with working knowledge of TS16949.
Must have experience of APQP activities and PPAP submissions.
Experience in transmissions manufacturing would be a distinct advantage.
Will ideally have experience of health & safety.
