A great opportunity is available for a Maintenance Engineer to join an established organisation on a days based role to work in a manufacturing environment.
Working in a fast-paced environment, you will be responsible for both ensure that preventative and reactive measures are taken into consideration to improve manufacturing efficiency and to decrease downtime.
You will be responsible for:
- Working as part of a team, as well as alone, using initiative to react to situations within the manufacturing environment.
- Communicating effectively and leading teams on projects within the environment.
- Undertaking both Electrical and Mechanical fault finding and repairs.
- Maintaining the machinery and conveyors within the manufacturing environment.
- Working with PLC, Robotics and Mechanical handling systems.
You will ideally be:
- Electrically biased with Mechanical experience.
- Apprenticeship trained in an Engineering discipline.
- Self motivated and a systematic thinker.
- Experienced with PLC fault finding and interrogation.
