Job Title: Principal Geotechnical Engineer
Location: Manchester
Salary: GBP35K - GBP45K
Due to an increased workload and expansion, we are currently seeking to develop a team in Manchester by recruiting an experienced Principal Geotechnical Engineer.
Candidates are required to be degree educated in Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering or Engineering Geology ideally at Masters level and you are required to have gained extensive UK based Ground Engineering experience. You will have a clear understanding of current UK ground engineering legislation and design codes in association with the UK Construction market.
You will join the company as the lead engineer in Manchester to provide assistance in the delivery of Geotechnical & Environmental Ground Engineering projects. Your responsibilities will see you undertake the development of the new office and as such experience of working in the Northwest is essential. You will also be responsible for undertaking phase 1 & phase 2 Geotechnical site investigations, foundation design and design for earthworks and slope stability assessments, factual & interpretative report writing, supervision of ground investigations.
