My Client is recruiting for an experienced Information Domain Architect. The company is a well known, recognised leading brand in their market and this is a fantastic opportunity for the right individual to join a market leading business

To provide an Information strategy and architecture for the domain ( BI and Analytics) which meets business and enterprise needs, and to deliver design blueprints/artefacts which enable that architecture to be built and operated

Key Accountabilities:

* Understand the needs of the domain and lead thinking in the way that those needs should be satisfied by IT.
* Be the principal advisor for the domain technology architecture and strategy.
* Define and communicate an IT architecture which balances the needs of the business and the domain and which is in line with the architecture and standards of the group.
* Own and develop a fit for purpose IT vision and roadmap for the aligned domain.
* Guide investment in the domain so that it follows the strategy and delivers the target architecture, reflecting the demands of that investment in the IT pipeline.
* Document domain blueprints and gain approval for their inclusion in the reference architecture.
* Deliver domain blueprints to support solution designs, which in turn can be successfully built and operated by AD&M and Service Delivery.
* Leverage the capabilities of technology vendors and sourcing suppliers to define architecture and deliver blueprints.
* Promote the value of IT architecture governance and design deliverables across the organisation.
* Present EAD design artefacts to the relevant architectural governance committees, to obtain timely approval avoiding delay or project risk.
* Participate in managing and maintaining vendor relationships, evaluating usefulness and cost of products and making appropriate recommendations.
* Maintain an awareness of external trends for the domain.
* Support the HoF to build, lead, develop, appraise and motivate a team of architects that it is capable of satisfying the accountabilities described above.
