Finance Manager

We have an exciting new sales job available which offers a starting salary of GBP20,000 - GBP25,000, depending on experience. There is also an extremely generous bonus package, providing an annual bonus of 5-15% of salary when your target is met! This is a permanent job opportunity that offers great working hours of Monday to Friday 9 am to 5 pm, with free car parking and twenty eight days holiday a year including bank holidays. This is working for a highly successful company based in Chelmsford.

They are seeking a talented Finance Manager to assist in their busy team. The primary duty of the role is to review and facilitate transactions and lending. This would include dealing with a range of customers, from brokerages with a substantial deal flow, to independent, semi retired bank managers who have local business relationships. You would be responsible for review incoming deals and providing prices for proposed loans. This would be complete working alongside the Sales Manager, so a good team player is essential for this role. You would also be fielding and responding to queries from Brokers and establishing a strong working relationship with them, based on current transactions. This is a very versatile role with a lot of duties, and you will also need to be organised and comfortable updating the Managing Director on progress, such as target updates and producing reports as requested.

To be considered for this position, you will need at least three years experience in customer service, sales support or relationship management. You will need great organisational skills and a great attention to detail, as well as a confident and approachable personality. The ability to build a relationship with customers and colleagues is key to this role, so you will need to have brilliant communication skills whilst face to face, on the telephone or via email correspondence. You will also need great time management, and be happy to work in a collaborative team.

You will ideally have a 2:1 degree or above in business, finance, economics, communications, administration or marketing although this is not essential. Previous experience working within a financial environment is also preferred, although again this is not essential.

To start the ball rolling, please forward a copy of your CV , or you can contact Bessy or Ollie on (Apply online only) to discuss this opportunity further.
