Norton Rose Fulbright is currently running a number of strategic initiatives and programmes that include new core financial and practice management systems (SAP) implementations. With significant planning and design underway we are now looking to move to the next phase of the project that will require extensive work to prepare the data within the existing system for migration. As a result we are looking for a Data Migration Analyst to join our EMEA Data Team located in London and working as a part of a wider business transformation team. The role will have a regional remit and may require non-standard working hours on occasion.

The role


Provide support on data cleanse activities for the EMEA region as part of the firm's migration to a new global practice management system (PMS) in September 2017
This role will focus primarily on supporting data cleanse activities associated with people information in EMEA including
Reconciliation of data from original source to the new PMS
Mapping of data based on standardised taxonomies
Improving data at source
Other analyst and cleanse support for the regional data migration lead
Review and support the design of future processes related to people data in the new PMS


Skills and Experience Required


High levels of computer literacy and analytical competence
High standard of Microsoft Office skills and specifically MS Excel
Experience of HRIS systems (e.g. Smartstream), legal practice management systems (e.g. Aderant) and SAP is highly desirable
Very good organisational skills, methodical in approach with high attention to detail
Proven ability to multi-task
Ability to work confidentially in all aspects of the role as position will have direct access to salary and other confidential information
An enthusiastic team player with strong communication skills
Ability to liaise with staff of all levels within the organisation
Adaptable and able to complete tasks without close supervision
Must be flexible over hours and prepared to work extra hours as dictated by the demands of the role
Positive, committed and prepared to use initiative
