Private Law is a highly regarded and successful division within Blake Morgan, comprising Succession & Tax, Family and Residential Property. It generates fees of over GBP10m, has 120 people and locations in London, Southampton, Portsmouth, Cardiff and Oxford.
Role Purpose
We are looking for an experienced and ambitious lawyer to join the Succession & Tax team in London. The London team comprises a partner-led team generating fees of over GBP1.25m. The focus of the London team is on the firm's HNW client base of largely entrepreneurial clients, both domestic and international. The team prides itself on strong relationships with clients and a high-service culture. The work is a mix of Wills & Estate Planning - to include property structuring and asset protection; complex Estate Administration - often with an international emphasis; LPAs; and trust set-up, management and termination.
The role is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious individual to develop their technical skills and to build their career within a leading law firm.
Skills & Experience
The successful candidate is likely to have at least five years' experience within Succession and Tax and should ideally be STEP qualified. They will have strong technical skills, allied with good business development, inter-personal and leadership skills. The level of the appointment is likely to be at Associate / Senior Associate level with 8 to 9 PQE, depending on current level of seniority and experience.
