The Team

You will work closely with the senior Finance management team. You will also be in a regular contact with departmental and country Heads as well as directors and senior managers from the business services functions.

The Opportunity

You will be responsible for leading the delivery of, and improvements to, all areas of statutory and management reporting and the operation of the financial planning cycle for the firm as a whole.

Given the strong practice facing nature of the role and seniority of stakeholders typically involved with such work you will have to quickly develop and then maintain strong working relationships, gaining individual's confidence and trust vital in the course of providing ongoing commercial guidance, interpretation and direction.

Who we're looking for

The right candidate will have strong working knowledge and experience of UK GAAP and the resulting consequences it has for reporting performance within a professional service business. You will also have a commercial viewpoint and outlook, both to support the business in meeting its objectives and to helping shape the service delivery and priorities of the team and function.

You should possess strong people skills, both to work with the different departments in the firm but also to manage the team and work within the wider Finance and Accounts function.

An excellent attention to detail with the ability to deliver a high quality of work to tight deadlines is essential.
