We are currently recruiting for a Caf?? Assistant to work in the Whitecross area.
Main Duties:
To prepare basic food ensuring high standards of cleanliness, hygiene and health and safety practices in all areas of the cafe whilst providing a high standard of customer service. The post holder will work under the direction of the Cafe Manager but will usually be the sole employee on site.
Specific Duties:
* To wash , peel and trim food items in preparation for customer orders
* To prepare and cook food as required
* To use a variety of kitchen equipment such as automatic mixers and cutters.
* To serve food to customers
* To clear tables and ensure the eating area is clean and tidy
* To wash kitchen equipment, work surfaces, floors and walls
* To cover the cafe for additional days as required e.g. holidays
* To load and empty the dishwasher
* To cash up and secure premises
