Escape Recruitment are recruiting for an experienced Payroll Manager to join our client, who are market leaders within their field.
As Payroll Manager, you will lead a team of Payroll Administrators ensuring a full payroll service is delivered to the business. Key duties will include but will not be limited to:
* Manage payroll team ensuring all payroll deadlines are met including HMRC and pensions.
* Complete monthly statutory and year end returns
* Ensure payroll legislation is compliant to current HMRC
* Identify areas for efficiency and improvement and liaise with management accordingly to implement changes
* Conduct monthly reviews with team members to identify coaching and development needs; train and mentor Payroll Administrators as required on all areas including processes and procedures, pension administration and current legislation
* Preparation of payroll analysis
Candidate Requirements:
* Professional qualification in either Payroll or Accountancy (CIPP or ACCA/CA/CIMA or equivalent). Equal consideration will be given to those applicants who are considered qualified by experience.
* Ability to demonstrate extensive payroll experience including up to date legislation requirements
* Previous experience of leading/managing teams would be preferred although not essential
* ERP experience - preferably SAP
* Previous experience of implementing and developing processes would be beneficial
