DIO are currently looking for a Data Quality Manager to join the Data, Analytics and Insight (DA&I) team as part of a new Data Quality function. The Data Quality Manager provides direction and expertise to the Data Quality Analysts to deliver data quality dashboards and other data quality outputs to the Data Governance team to support engagement with Data Stewards in order to drive data quality improvements. The role will work with business and technical stakeholders across the business to: -Deliver against the enterprise data strategy and data governance vision. -Deliver data ownership and accountability within the business through the development of metrics and scorecards to track progress and measure the continuity of data quality once at a satisfactory standard. -Work with Data Stewards (in conjunction with the Data Governance team) to understand their data quality issues, requirements and parameters in order to maximise value derived from data; quantifying the benefit. -Identify proactive steps that can help inform better outputs that drive the Data Stewards forwards in improving data quality (e.g. automated bulk uploads, development of routines/rules to enhance data). -Support the organisation to achieve better decisions through the maintenance of improved data quality and best practices, including proactive deployment of toolsets to manage data at point of entry. Provide alignment by: -Supporting the business and IT to deliver the ongoing data quality and data governance activities. -Promoting data quality scorecards within the different directorates (working closely and in conjunction with the Data Governance team, Data Stewards and other key stakeholders). -Participating in change control, impact analysis and issue resolution as needed.
