Quanta Contracts Ltd are currently recruiting for a temporary Credit Controller for our client based in Rugby. This is a full time positionwith a 9am start and 5pm finish, with 45 minutes for lunch.

Our client requires the successful candidate from the 23/10/2016 - 27/01/2017. However, this vacancy could be extended or reduced at any time.

The main aspect of the role is to provide advice and assistance to customers on all areas related to leaseholder debt recovery and provide an effective collection and enforcement service to maximise income.


* Provide an effective income collection service relating to leaseholder, home owner and other debt, maximising income to the association.
* Liaise with the Leasehold team as designated point of contact for credit control matters to ensure that customer requirements are met and any customer issues are resolved.
* Where necessary, prepare case files for the referral of debts to the designated solicitors for formal legal action.
* Support the creation and continuous improvement to systems enabling automation of cases and system-generated recommended actions.
* Maintain high quality records in relation to detailed case histories, ensuring records are maintained to allow effective collection and enforcement activity.
* Provide administrative support in respect of all income related functions
* To produce statistical performance and management information on arrears and aged debts.
* Work in partnership with the Leasehold officers with regard to proactively preventing customers entering into debt situations.


* Ability to communicate with customers and colleagues effectively, including the creation of bespoke letters to customers.
* Good IT Skills including use of word and excel and experience of databases.
* Numerate with analytical skills
* Able to plan and organise work to achieve deadlines
* Ability to think creatively and identify solutions to problems
* Extensive knowledge of debt recovery procedures and techniques.
* Knowledge of property management, service charges and rents.
* Knowledge of the relevant statute with regard to Leasehold property.
* Ability to travel to meet the requirements of the role.
