Sage 200 Super User or Sage 200 Accounts for Software Support role in Hook, Hampshire working for an excellent software company with a great reputation for looking after their staff.

This leading software reseller supply, support and install the full range of Sage software including Sage 200, Sage ERP X3, Sage 1000 and Sage CRM. They need an additional Software Support Consultant and they are happy to take on an experienced Sage 200 super user, or an accounts person who has strong Sage 200 skills to train up into a Sage 200 Application Support role. Starting salary will be around GBP22 - 25k depending on your experience and Sage 200 skills.

This position has become available as one of the current Support Consultants has been promoted into a software implementation and consulting role, so you can see that there are plenty of career opportunities if you are interested in working on the IT side of Sage 200.

They have had a lot of previous success hiring people with a Sage 200 accounting background who have been super users of Sage accounting and finance systems and who want enjoy the problem solving aspects of a software support role. So you will probably have gained your Sage 200 skills in an accounts team and been the "Go To "person for queries on Sage 200 software, and you will be the person in your company who trains the new users and helps set people up on the Sage 200 system.

Ideally, you will have used Sage 200 financials and commercials on a daily basis for at least 12 months and you will be knowledgeable on most aspects of accounting.

As part of the Software Support group here, your team members will mentor and coach you, and teach you how to deal with Sage 200 client queries and problems that come in by email and telephone or via support tickets. Working in this type of software role is very rewarding as you help customers solve their accounting software issues.

You need to be a confident person with a good telephone voice, who enjoys problem solving and building relationships with clients. This is job where a positive attitude and a smile, go a long way towards solving each software issue. You need to be able to engage with the clients and really listen to them carefully, as understanding what they are trying to do with the software holds the key to the answer, more than knowing every nuance of Sage 200 itself.
