Capita employee benefits are seeking a number of graduates to take part in our graduate scheme commencing 14th November.

Interviews will take place from 31st October - 4th November.

About the role

Successful candidates will be given an initial 5 weeks intense training before starting your new role of Junior Applications Developer.

You will design, develop, maintain, modify and test aspects of CEB applications, adapting and extending the systems to meet the change of business needs.

What you will do;

  • Developing new application functionality

  • Providing application support and bug fixing

  • Following agreed development cycle including statement of intent, unit testing and peer reviews.

  • Producing documentation to agreed standards

  • Maintaining high coding standards.

  • Complying with all relevant security policies, quality policies, FCA regulations, pensions' regulations and department development standards.

Your experience will include

  • Educated to degree level in IT, Computer Science/Engineering or related subjects.

  • Strong Academic background

  • Experience or a keen interest in applications/web development

  • Ability to work as part of a team within a fast paced environment

  • Displays initiative, analytical and problem solving skills

  • Excellent verbal and written communication
