Our client is a very popular, high performing 11 – 18 school with academy status, situated between Warwick and Leamington Spa. Working in a supportive role in a caring environment as a Teaching Assistant you will support the educational, personal, and social development of students with a variety of needs such as literacy, numeracy, disabilities, access or mobility needs either in the classroom or on a one-to-one basis. It can be a challenging role at times but incredibly rewarding to feel you can make a difference to the achievements of some of our young people (11 – 16 years) who need additional support and understanding.
You will be one of a large team of TAs in our Development Centre which has a great reputation for supporting students with special educational needs, disabilities, anxiety, learning barriers and multiple and complex needs, to enable them to access a broad and balanced academic and social curriculum, and to be fully included in all aspects of school life.
If you are simply looking for a more rewarding job or are keen for school experience before training to be a teacher, then please apply now!
