Security Officer

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Security Support Officer to join one of the UK's fastest growing security companies.

They are currently looking to recruit eleven experienced Concierge, Static and Retail Security Officers to conduct all aspects of security duties at their contracts in the Southampton area.

They have multiple, full time vacancies available

Each position varies with pay rate, they have positions available for £7.39, and £7.60 plus double time for BH's.

Responsibilities:

You will ensure the safety and security of staff and customers within your working environment.

- Maintaining a safe and secure environment for customers and employees by patrolling and monitoring premises and personnel.
- Monitoring the store CCTV.
- Providing a vision able deterrent within the store.
- Completing reports by recording observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities.
- Working as part of a team to fulfil customer requirements.
- Dealing with any difficult situations that arise in a safe and professional manner.
- Manage Reception desk.
- Manage visitors to site with signature.
- Control of access to premises.
- Issue keys to secure areas to authorised personnel.
- Record site Incidents (DOB and IR Reports).
- Alarm Response: Investigation and Write Report.

Person specification:
- A valid SIA licence;
- A full five year checkable employment history;
- Excellent customer service skills;
- Previous experience in a similar role is desirable.
- Surveillance skills
- Excellent communication skills are required both written and verbal.
- Have a good level of judgement professionalism.
- Experience in apprehension of shop lifters and subsequent reporting would also be an advantage
