Our client is the global leader in electrical insulation for transformer manufacturers and users. Their core competence is the development and production of customised cellulose based insulation systems for power and distribution transformers, and they also offer expertise and products for high-temperature applications like locomotive and wind turbine transformers.

Outside of the electrical industry, their paper manufacturing competence has been widely used to develop innovative solutions for different industries, ranging from packaging to textile and paper converting.

They are currently looking for a Utility Operator to join them, working a 3 shift role that serves their Finishing and despatch needs.

Assisting with an increased requirement to support finishing production, you will facilitate the successful packing of paper reels. Moving materials to maximise output from the Finishing department, you will ensure maximum outward despatch from the Finishing warehouse locations on site.

They are looking for someone with a “can-do” attitude and good written and mathematical skills. It would be advantageous, although not essential, if you have previous paper process / paper finishing or continual operation experience. Candidates with an existing FLT licence are considered desirable.

Benefits of working for our client include being part of a global company, statutory UK holidays, and company sick scheme entry after 2 years. Progression is also available; the successful jobholder will be able to move to a more senior role as opportunities allow and any individual wishing to develop will be supported at the highest level of the company.
