We are looking for a web developer with full stack experience to join our web development team, to hrlp envision, architect and deliver current and next generation projects.
Experience - What you need to be able to do
The ideal candidate will be able to show a portfolio of examples of work demonstrating skills and experience of using the following web coding and design techniques:
●Backend web development experience with the full LAMP stack
●Frontend web development experience including HTML5, CSS3
●Good understanding of responsive and adaptive web design
●Experience with bootstrap, CSS preprocessors (LESS or Sass) and Grunt will be to your advantage
●Experience working with agile development also an advantage
●Experience with git version control preferred
●Adherence to web standards and best practices
Nice to have
●Good working knowledge of web analytics, PPC, SEO and programmatic advertising
●Classic ASP if you can
●Experience of design for print would also help
●Further education qualification in computer programming or similar
●Minimum of 2 years experience in website development
●Must be able to work across teams with the flexibility to adapt to different processes whilst communicating clearly with colleagues across various skillsets
●Ideally you will have experience in consulting, agency or creative agency
●High energy, self-starter with an aptitude for learning new technologies
●Great interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal)
●Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to different stakeholders (external and internal)
●Ability to multi-task and support multiple areas of responsibility at the same time
