Merchandiser/Stock Controller – Home Textiles

As Merchandiser/Stock Controller, you’ll maintain a critical path including a history of dates and comments for each new product. Reporting to our [info not provided –POC], you’ll be involved in daily communication with customers, entailing regular meetings with them and also with the warehouse to plan workloads and promotions. In addition to raising purchase orders, the administrative elements of the role include:
• collating information for product specifications
• allocating customer orders
• using our internal system to update in-store designs
• stock level reporting.
With a proven track record in a similar role, ideally within the retail sector, you have demonstrable experience of forecasting, reporting and ‘number-crunching’, whilst reporting this back to sales. With a good eye for detail and a pro-active approach, you’re computer-literate in MS Office, especially Word, Outlook and Excel. Your strong administrative skills complement:
