Service Engineer – Electro-Mechanical Equipment
Field Based (covering Northern Ireland and the border counties in Ireland)
£22,000 - £26,000 Plus Saturday Standby, Company Vehicle, Pension Scheme, Private Medical Insurance

If you’ve been working with electro-mechanical equipment for a few years and are looking to challenge yourself in an engaging new role, our client wants to hear from you.

Providing unique and advanced solutions for cash management, our client seeks to make cash handling simplistic and financially sound. They are now looking for a Service Engineer to join their team, working throughout Northern Ireland and the border counties.

This diverse role would suit a hands-on maintenance electrician or similar with good IT skills who is looking to progress their career in currency handling technology.

Dedicated to investing in their employees, our client will provide you with excellent training and ongoing support to ensure that you succeed in your role.

As a Service Engineer, you’ll be tasked with maintaining and repairing customers’ equipment at sites throughout Northern Ireland and the border counties in Ireland.

In this varied role, you’ll be working with our client’s cash handling and packaging machinery, making sure it runs smoothly and is in perfect working order. You’ll be acting as the face of the company, so you’ll need to project a professional image at all times and act in a considerate manner.

You’ll also manage spare parts stock, install and commission cash management systems and train customers in the safe and effective use of equipment.

Interested? To be considered, you must have:

- Several years’ experience of repairing electro-mechanical equipment
- Good IT skills
- A full driving licence

As a Service Engineer, you’ll also need great customer service skills and an approachable, friendly nature. Great communication and interpersonal abilities are key, as is a presentable appearance.

Ideally, you’ll have a Higher Certificate (or equivalent) in an engineering related discipline, but this is by no means essential.

Please note, the successful candidate will be required to travel to Manchester to complete their training.
