DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES:

Visitors come from all over the county for a fun day out at Maidstone Leisure Centre. Located in Mote Park in Maidstone, the whole family can enjoy five swimming pools as well as exciting water features, Flume, Waves and Polar Adventure.

We are looking for enthusiastic, fun and professional individuals to join our team at Maidstone Leisure Centre and assist in the operation and day to day running of various aspects of our children's activities department. The Children`s Activity Assistants will ensure customer safety and a high standard of service for the variety of specific activities on offer for children to partake in.

The roles are on a casual basis, and will offer hours during the evening, weekends and school holidays covering our holiday play scheme, birthday parties and our soft play area.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide clean, safe and properly supervised facilities for the children of customers to the Leisure Centre
- Facilitate the safe running of activities within the play scheme
- Provide a friendly and welcome service to customers and their children
- Maintain a full product knowledge of the services available at the Centre and advise customers accordingly
- Adopt a pro-active approach to continuous service improvement
- Follow relevant company policies and procedures for the running of the play scheme
- Complete relevant safety checks on all soft play equipment utilised within the scheme

Whilst experience of working in a similar environment is desirable, applicants with other industry-specific experience or interests will be considered.
