Schools Admissions and Recruitment Officer

Salary: £24,717 pa pro rata

This role is for 25 hours per week but there will be some unsociable working hours during peak recruitment times. The role will be based at the New College site on Queens Drive.

Great Western Academy, in North Swindon is due to open in September 2018. This is a free school which will be sponsored by New College and we are currently looking for a School Marketing and Admissions Officer who will be involved in the following tasks:

1. Develop, plan and implement Great Western Academy marketing and pupil recruitment activity
2. Co-ordinate Admissions activity for Great Western Academy
3. Provide an effective customer services function for all Great Western Academy enquiries ahead of opening
4. Plan and co-ordinate information and recruitment events
5. Contribute to the development and promotion of any additional school bids
6. General New College marketing and communications activity

This is a 2 year fixed contract until October 2018 with the possibility of becoming permanent.

It is essential that you hold a Level 3 qualifications together with a minimum of level 2 in Maths and English.

Knowledge and experience of working within Admissions environment with School or local government setting is also essential.

A strong interest or experience in marketing is also desirable.
