A homely independent day care Nursery in East Grinstead is looking for a Room Leader to join their team. The Nursery covers children from 3 months to 5 years. With their specialised care and attention they promote the individual personality and encourage the growth of confidence in every child. The Nursery has a large safe and enclosed garden with trees, a vegetable patch, a herb garden, a playhouse and a sandpit including other outdoor equipment. The position is to work as Room Leader in charge of the 13 month to 2 Years Room.

All applicants for this position must have the following requirements to be considered:
- NNEB or equivalent
- A minimum of 1 years experience preferably at a supervisory level.
- Relevant knowledge of the Early Years Curriculum
- Eligibility to work in the UK

Responsibilities include:
- Supervise senior and junior staff, apprentices, students, ancillary staff and volunteers.
- Settle children into the daily routine of the Nursery
- Meeting the requirements set down by Ofsted.
- Responsible as a keyworker for a small group of children.
- Liaise directly to parents on child progress and development.
- Be a good role model and promote physical, intellectual, language and emotional and social skills.
- Implement a balanced routine in the Nursery.
- Support outings and welcome visitors in to give talks to children.
