An enthusiastic, flexible and motivated administrator is needed to assist the Health and Safety Advisor of a shopfitting company based on Lee Mill Industrial Estate.
The candidate must be IT literate, well organised, articulate and prepared to tackle a wide range of tasks within set deadlines. The ability to work on their own initiative is essential.
The range of tasks is varied and there is plenty of opportunity to develop the role.
Previous experience is not necessary, as on-the job training will be provided, although a construction based background would be an advantage.
Sourcing of project information (drawings, reports, surveys etc.) from the client's database and collating into presentation binder in preparation for scoping first site visits
Preparation of project information packs for pre-start meetings
Preparation of site paperwork, including ensuring all necessary documents and notices are included for dispatch to site
Preparation of Post-project Health and Safety files (Operation and Maintenance Manuals); chasing up any outstanding information and ensuring issue within deadline
Ensuring all required information is uploaded to the client's database, maintaining a tracker.
Attendance at site meetings, writing and issuing the minutes
Maintaining staff training records, arranging training courses when required
Liaison with client and store team regarding charity donations and store launch events, attending launches to ensure photo opportunities.
Maintaining stocks of H&S stationery, site pass holders, signing in registers etc.
Obtaining hoarding permits from Local Authorities
Assorted other tasks as requested by the H&S Advisor or Project Managers
