This well established dealer group is currently looking for an experienced Sales Manager or Senior Sales Executive to help run their Franchised Alfa Romeo, Fiat, Abarth & Used Car Motor Dealership.

The Dealer Principal is looking for a strong individual, a true leader, someone to drive the team, with an eye for detail, with the aim of growing this already successful business into the future. Providing the right candidate delivers what is expected of them there will be the opportunity to further progress their involvement in the business over the coming years.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a financially sound, extremely well run, small Dealer Group with a history of strong performance. You will be Head of the Sales Department and have direct contact with the Dealer Principal. It will be your role to run the successful Sales Department, in this busy Dealership. They are looking for someone to develop the sales team in all the areas which make a difference, leading the team by example.

- Always deliver excellent customer service "they commit to treating their customers in the same manner they themselves would expect to be treated". This must be done without compromising profitability
- Someone who can deliver/exceed the department budget and grow the Department
- You must ensure the Department operates in a compliant manner.
- A professional and driven leader - Someone who can instil confidence within the team
- Double face customers to improve close ratio
- Understanding New Car Sales Programmes - making sure the sales teams share in this knowledge
- Control values of used cars and overall stock management
- Handle trade disposal through a digital platform
- Devote your skill set to the department, with an intense focus on New & Used car sales
- Promote the highest standards of presentation/housekeeping
- Adopt a hands on approach working with the sales team growing the business
- Make sure opportunities, cost controls are not overlooked
- Take an active interest alongside the Dealer Principal in our marketing activities
- Work with the team, encouraging them to share the values of the business under your leadership, including process & procedure

This position is with a well-established, well-funded already well organised profitable Dealership enjoying the benefits of a loyal customer base, committed team and good relationship with their Manufacturer partners. The right individual must have a solid career history, a proven knowledge of how to run a successful Franchised Motor Dealership Sales Department and be able to work closely with our Dealer Principal.

Requirements: You must have at least 2 years' experience as a Sales Manager or Senior Sales Executive employed in a Franchise Motor Dealership with some understanding of aftersales and a willingness to learn, based on how a good Dealership operates.
