This national charity works with disabled children and young people and their families. They are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and committed individual to join the finance team, based in Sutton Coldfield, as a Management Accountant (travel to regions will be required).

Salary: £29,022 per annum

Reporting to the Director of Finance and IT the successful candidate will be responsible for budgeting, management accounts, and month-end for a number of regions and projects. This position is important to the charity and will require a finance business partner approach and someone who can challenge constructively whilst engaging and training non finance budget holders at all levels. They will also be required to provide high quality support by preparing monthly financial reports, business information dashboards, variance analysis and commentaries, as well as ensuring that finance and business information is intelligent, accurate and timely.

The successful candidate will be a fully qualified accountant with business partnering experience. The role will suit a strong communicator who is not afraid to challenge decisions if required. You will need the ability to analyse and interpret key financial data while working to tight deadlines. You will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to influence and build rapport with a range of finance and non-finance persons across the organisation.
