Our client specialise in providing one to one care for young adults with autism and challenging behaviours and are seeking a full time Support Worker to work within a their residential home.

The role as a Support Worker:
 
As a Support Worker / Carer you will be working with young adults who have complex needs and challenging behaviours and it will be your responsibility to provide quality care and support and assist them in developing their day to living skills.
 
Your Carer Worker duties will include:
 
•             Supporting individuals in their everyday life and delivering personal care 
•             Assessment of residents needs
•             General house-keeping & meal preparation
•             Conducting risk assessment where required
•             Preparing incident reports and updating daily records
 
 
What you’ll need
 
EXPERIENCE IS NOT ESSENTIAL for this Health Care / Carer role as full training can be provided but you will be a strong team player and able to work on your own initiative, whilst being punctual and flexible in your working hours.  If you have NVQ/QCF Level 2, this would be an advantage.
