Mechatronic / Maintenance Engineer

This is an opportunity to join a specialist pharmaceutical business involved in the manufacture and supply of medicine.

They are looking for an Engineer with a demonstrable aptitude for hands on work to join their Engineer's Department. Initially working as an understudy to the Facilities Manager, this position offers good prospects for promotion within the next few years. This is a specialised position and the successful candidate will need to demonstrate hands on engineering experience.

The post holder will be responsible for the maintenance of a range of plant and equipment and preference will be given to applicants with experience of working on steam generators and steam lines.

The post holder will also work to support the Company's competent safety person in ensuring the Company continues to meets its health and safety obligations. Primarily based at Aylesbury there will be an on call commitment and some very occasional travel to the Company's Huntingdon facilities.
