Due to rapid growth, a Purchasing / Stock Control Administrator is urgently required at their busy head office / merchants yard in Matlock, Derbyshire.

You will ensure that inventory levels are managed tightly; that purchase orders are processed efficiently; queries are resolved and administrative functions associated with day-to-day running of the purchasing department are fulfilled.

You will have a proven track record working within a busy purchasing/stock control role, used to processing high volumes of purchase orders across a wide range of SKU's, be fully capable in resolving inventory discrepancies (returns, damages and inventory shortages) and dealing with suppliers in a timely and effective manner.

This is a hands on role with some warehouse duties. A can-do attitude, strong PC literacy (Excel, Word, Emails), exceptional organisational skills and a confident and professional manner are all essential.

In return you will receive a salary of circa GBP14-GBP16,000, 28 days holiday per year, and work in a switched on and rapidly growing company where a real opportunity exists to fast track your career.
