This R&D and Manufacturing organisation in the sustainability energy industry wishes to appoint a proven Plant and Production Manager to lead this advanced production site and take full ownership of the manufacturing. You will be a driver of change and be able to deliver sustainable growth in line with the company's goals and targets

The Role
The Plant and Production Manager will be responsible for the overall operational leadership of this low to medium volume high precision manufacturing facility providing a variety of components to manufacturing and engineering sectors across business. You will manage the manufacturing process to deliver sustainable and profitable growth in line with the group targets and contribute to the business overall in a positive way

The main duties of the role will include;
- Create an environment of effective communication both internally and externally in order to represent the site positively to all stakeholders including customers, local authorities and the public organisations
- Material Balance and Mass Balance Methods command with stock movement controls
- Creation, periodic reviewing, including maintaining version controls and updating of all operational SOPs in line with the regulatory and or process change
- Maintain ISCC, QMS ISO9001, ISO14001 & ISO 18001-compliant system
- Maintain all safety guidelines regulated by HSE, OSHA, or other regulatory agencies
- Manage operations at facilities, including production, shipping, maintenance, or quality assurance activities
- Approve proposals for the acquisition, replacement, or repair processing equipment or the implementation of new production processes
- Conduct cost, material, and efficiency studies production plants or operations
- Monitor meters, flow gauges, or other real-time data to ensure proper operation of production equipment, implementing corrective measures as needed
- Review logs, datasheets, or reports to ensure adequate production levels or to identify abnormalities with production equipment or processes

The Person
The ideal candidate will be a leader of change and a champion in continuous improvement. You will be a proven manufacturing operations professional and have previous management level experience within a world class production environment and be able to proactively lead a facility and all of its employees. You will ideally have a proven mix of the following skills and experience;
- BSc / BEng / MSc or equivalent in chemical/mechanical engineering / manufacturing related discipline
- Must have Natural Gas Measurement techniques
- Must possess Petroleum Economics Certifications
- Must hold MBal (material balance) software operating Certifications
- Experience of managing engineering, production and technical departments
- Previous experience of working within a larger European / Global Oil & Gas organizations is highly desirable
- Strong commercial skills with experience of driving new business development activities
