This provider of Cloud & IT Support Services based in London, is looking for an experienced IT Support Engineer with a wide range of skills and an excellent knowledge of Microsoft products. They service a number of SMEs in central London and the successful candidate will be based at their office in Victoria. As part of the help desk team you will provide phone and remote support to their client base and occasionally be required to attend client sites to resolve any issues.
Requirements:
The following skills are essential, so please make sure you tick most of the boxes:
- Great interpersonal communication skills
- Fluent spoken and written English
- Ability to independently solve technical issues
- Advanced knowledge and troubleshooting of Microsoft Windows desktop operating system (ver 7, 8 and 10)
- Experience in supporting Mac OSX
- Experience in business cloud platforms (Office 365 and Google Apps )
- Experience in supporting Windows Servers (Active Directory, Exchange, Group Policy)
- General Networking Knowledge (Configuring and troubleshooting routers, network equipment)
- And again, great communication skills with clients is essential
It would be great if you could tick any of the boxes below:
- Knowledge of 3CX phone system
- Any Microsoft Cloud Certification
- Knowledge of the Microsoft Azure platform
Working Time:
- Your normal working hours will be Monday to Friday 9am to 6pm (1 hour for lunch).
- Some projects are implemented over weekends, so you will need to be flexible. Those are always planned in advance, and paid additional to your salary.
- You will receive 28 days of holiday per annum including bank holidays.
- Enrolment into the company pension scheme will commence in Jan 2017.
