The post-holder will be expected to work closely with the Professional Learning team to provide an excellent learning experience for students. A central part of the role will be to enhance students’ knowledge and understanding of Professional Learning and Development. This will be achieved through the delivery of teaching in a variety of learning environments (university and school-based settings). The post-holder will utilise a range of teaching styles and approaches for effective provision across a range of professional learning programmes.
The post-holder will contribute to a number of modules, including Research Methods within a professional context and take responsibility for strategic leadership of the Graduate Certificate programme. Developing and maintaining school partnership links across Wales will also be an integral aspect of the role. The SL post-holder will also be responsible for assuring the quality and consistency of provision across the programmes, and will work closely with the programme management team in this regard.
