IT Sales Account Manager
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a professional IT Account Manager within an established and growing IT company based near Bath. They are looking for an experienced sales person who has the drive to become a key member of the sales team in a growing and forward thinking company.
Knowledge, Skills, and/or Abilities Required:
- Proven experience in Managed IT Services & Support, Servers, Workstations and Network Solutions
- Track record of managing the customer commitment, negotiation, and closure of the sales process
- Proven ability to develop business relationships and win opportunities
- Enjoy working with customers and external audiences
- Strong organizational, presentation, and customer service skills
- Skill in preparing written communications and materials
- Competitive with the desire to be successful in a fast moving environment
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Work with active customers to develop a deep understanding of their needs and translate those needs into product requirements that satisfy their demands
-Qualify new sales opportunities, cross-selling and up-selling services and solutions to customers. Effectively communicate features and benefits of solutions and manage prospect expectations throughout the lifecycle of the account.
- Receive requests for service and products details from customers and provide timely responses
- Conduct on site or online presentations that showcase the services and products of the company to active customers
- Manage the complexity of Managed IT services proposals, contracts, lease agreements, and service level agreements
- Develop an evolving strategic technology plan for each client and ensure that they are fully aware of business risk within their technology environment
- Maintain in-depth product knowledge of the service offerings of the company
- Perform sales and remain compliant with defined policies and procedures
- Achieve and maintain a positive rapport with prospects and work to give them the best possible service
- Ensure knowledge and take full responsibility for all ongoing or potentially major issues that contract customers are currently experiencing, and communicate proactively on this with the client
- Work with the Business Development Manager to develop relationships with new customers to ensure smooth handover and continuity

For the role of IT Sales & Account Manager a basic salary of GBP26,000 to GBP30,000pa (depending on experience) is offered with a generous uncapped commission structure and company car (GBP45k+ OTE).
The position is office-based with frequent travel to customers' locations. Applicants must live within easy commuting distance of their client's head office in Frome Somerset.
Due to the rural location and duties of the role you must have a full driving licence.
