Do you have a background in Childcare?

Our client is currently looking to appoint a Tutor/Pathway Leader in their ChildCare Department to deliver across the curriculum and possibly undertake assessments in the workplace for their learners studying Childcare qualifications.

The successful candidate will have experience in curriculum delivery as well as have knowledge on apprenticeship delivery. You will need to have experience of working in a Childcare setting and assessing competence based qualifications. Knowledge of Teaching Assistant and Playwork roles would be desirable. An appropriate Childcare qualification is essential, as is Functional Skills English and Maths Level 2 or the ability to gain within the first few months of employment. Excellent teaching skills, the ability to engage and motivate challenging learners and the ability to communicate effectively are essential. A teaching qualification (Cert Ed, DTLLS) is desirable.
