Maintenance Assistant
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a full-time Maintenance Assistant at private healthcare company headquartered in Harley Street.
The position involves supporting the Maintenance Lead in the general upkeep of several clinic sites based in London and Wales, including looking after the facilities, decoration, security, project work and general day-to-day maintenance of the buildings.
The successful candidate will have minimum qualifications of grade A-C in GCSE Maths and English (or equivalent). Vocational qualifications in a practical building subject such as plumbing or electrics would be highly desirable.
The successful candidate will have basic skills in mechanical and electrical works and a good understanding of Health and Safety legislations. Candidates will be skilled in problem solving, proactive in nature and have the ability to identify and fix potential problems before they occur.
Applicants must be team players and able to communicate at all levels at the same time as being trusted to work autonomously. Due to the nature of this role, candidates need to be flexible with regards to their place of work and ideally have a full-clean driving licence.
Please note that this post would also require on odd occasions to attend the clinic out of hours should there be an urgent situation, e.g. alarm reset.
Potential applicants should also be aware that the post involves a considerable amount of heavy lifting and manual handling.
Hours of work are Monday to Friday inclusive, 40hrs per week.
They are looking for candidates to start as soon as possible.
As we are a licenced and regulated clinic, an enhanced DBS check will be required, the cost of which will be met by the Company.
This company (and its subsidiaries) is an equal opportunities employer and strictly adheres to the Equality Act (2010).
