Job Title: HR Administrator

Location: Loughborough, LE11

Salary: up to £18,000 pro rata

Term: 6 month contract- the duration of the contract may increase due operational demands

Our client is looking for a HR Administrator who can support the HR Team with administration and compliance. You should have the ability to absorb and impart information to others on a factual basis. Situations involving people and maintaining goodwill are also important to the function. You should have persistence, be thorough, systematic and precise and have an innate need to get things right. You should have the ability to adhere to rules, procedure and detail whilst maintaining quality and ensuring standards are met. Diplomacy and working within clearly defined parameters, in a predictable climate are involved in the job.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assisting with work experience requests
  • Recruitment administration
  • Offer letter, contracts, new starter paperwork
  • Responding to reference requests
  • Support the HR Advisor with payroll input/processing, taking queries from managers/employees
  • Setting up employees with online payslips
  • HR system input- e.g. adding starters, leavers, changes, absences
  • Setting up employees with self-service log ins/helping managers and employees to resolve queries
  • Producing manpower reports for HR KPI's
  • Reports, such as long service award report
  • Requesting training summary from manufacturers and importing training records into HR system
  • Setting new starters up with FCA log ins, running training report
  • Ordering stationary
  • Authorising business card log ins
  • Exit interview administration
  • Collating appraisal returns

The successful candidate will have previous experience within an administrative role and experience of working within a HR team would be desirable although not essential.

  • Admin experience circa 2 years
  • Maths/English GCSE C and above or equivalent
  • Computer Literate
  • Confident in dealing with others on the phone or in person
  • Focus on ensuring tasks are complete
  • Desirable - experience of working in HR team
