Travel Sales Consultant

This independent Tour Operator specialising in sailing holidays in the Mediterranean and Caribbean, is looking for an enthusiastic Sales Consultant to join their small, friendly office based in a beautiful converted mill in Edenbridge High Street. This job is a permanent position for the right candidate.

You will be working in a small sales team, converting enquiries into bookings for tailor-made sailing holidays. Previous experience in selling and/or the travel industry is essential. If you have been sailing you will have a head-start in selling their holidays but full training in their specialist sailing holidays will be given.

The role includes:
- responding to enquiries which come in by telephone or via the website,
- ensuring quotes are sent out within 24 hours,
- going the extra mile to offer the best choice to clients,
- converting the initial enquiry into confirmed bookings,
- maintaining and actively chasing leads,
- booking yacht charters, flights and hotels,
- dealing with reservation administration.
