Parts Sales Advisor
This company, as well as being on-line, they pride themselves on a good local service. They are a supplier of Truck Parts, Trailer Parts, Consumables and Lubricants and have several branches, mainly in the East Midlands and North West of the country. They are an ambitious expanding company.
Their main product lines include Truck and Trailer hardware, such as friction and air braking products, Lighting, body components, electrical and lighting products, oils and lubricants, exhausts and aircon, brake and clutch hydraulics, cab panels and cab structural-products, workshop consumables and tools.
The company has made significant advances in the market and is looking for a Parts Sales Advisor to join them at their new location in Dartford
The successful candidates will have a solid background in a sales advisory role- preferably with the relevant industry experience
Main Function:
To advise existing and potential customers on the best value parts and consumables for their individual applications and maintain an excellent standard of service delivery.
Primary Responsibilities:
- To ensure that full data is collected from telephone calls and trade counter interactions
- To fully complete sales audit enquiry forms
- Ensure that customers are advised on best value parts/consumables for their application and endeavour to cross sell related goods.
- To ensure customer requirements on price and delivery are completed correctly on every transaction.
- Refer new prospects to the Sales Manager.
- Target a minimum of 10 trade/or credit application openings per month.
- Ensure that marketing material is despatched with each delivery and trade counter transaction
- Accurate control of own individual stock handling.
Normal Hours of Work
Your normal hours of work shall be a minimum of 40 hours per week worked between the following hours to meet branch requirements, unless notified otherwise:
Mon - Fri
8.00am to 5.00pm
8.30am to 5.30pm (1 hours unpaid break)
9.00am to 6.00pm
Plus two Saturdays per month
8.30am to 12.30pm
