Business: This company's operations have a market-leading presence in a wide range of sectors associated with the food chain. The Group's companies manufacture quality products for use in human and animal foodstuffs, agriculture, aquaculture, and industrial applications. The Company has a UK annual turnover approaching GBP280 million and employs around 1,000 people at 23 sites across the country.

The Position: They are seeking an Engineering Site Supervisor to provide assistance to the Electrical and Engineering team along with ensuring all aspects of site maintenance are carried out. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to join the company during the site's build phase where he/she will be able to gain valuable experience from two established AD sites in Doncaster and Widnes to ensure a smooth start-up and commissioning of the GBP30 million plant. This is a full time permanent position.

As an AD Site Engineering Supervisor, your duties and responsibilities will vary based on the Company's requirements but will include:

- Support the day-to-day maintenance of the site and to assist the Operations Manager with controlling and coordinating the safe and efficient operations of the site in accordance with H&S and legislative requirements.
- To organise and implement maintenance schedules as per manufacturer's guidelines and liaise with the Operations Manager & Operations Supervisor providing updates on maintenance schedules/work progress.
- To implement and keep the asset management system updated and to attach costing for specific projects/plant modifications on site.
- To carry out risk assessments of routine maintenance procedures and unplanned works.
- To ensure maintenance staff take full responsibility for their work environment and that all tools are maintained and accounted for, maintaining critical spares and ensuring replacement of parts as required at all times.
- To liaise with external contractors and review RAMS prior to work commencing and ensure that all permit-to-work documents are completed to the required standard.
- To provide supervision & assistance to the Electrical and Engineering staff.
- Ensure that on each shift a daily hand over has been completed and that any additional remedial works required is carried out.
- Provide a report to the Operations Manager of all repair work carried out over the previous week.
- To undertake any other duties reasonably requested by the Management Team.

The Person:

- Experience in asset management would be beneficial.
- Educated to A-Level, or equivalent, preferably Degree level.
- Hold a fork lift license, or willingness to train.
- Good numerical, analytical and diagnostic skills.
- Good written and verbal communication and IT skills including MS Office.
- You must be flexible, practical and hard working and be able to work under own initiative.
- Be comfortable with working at heights.
