As part of an aggressive expansion programme, this hydraulic component distributor is relocating from Bromford Road, Birmingham, to a much larger modern distribution facility at Cheston Road, Aston.

They urgently need a number of new people to join them, whether you have several years of experience in the fluid power industry or if it is an area that you would love to develop into, they want to hear from you!

They are looking for internal sales executives to grow their team; the role will require customer facing sales on the trade counter as well as making and taking phone sales calls. The role of Technical Sales will require you to have or develop a good knowledge of the principles of hydraulics and a technical background to support the process.

The successful candidate will be provided with the ongoing training and development required to ensure that they will be equipped to fully support the external sales effort, existing and prospect customers and drive increased revenue for the division. This will require (outgoing) proactivity and also some external sales visits.

The essential responsibilities and attributes required for consideration for this role are:
- Able to work under pressure, ensuring customer satisfaction is achieved at all times.
- Technical understanding and experience
- Good telephone skills and sales ability
- Able to show enthusiasm for business development, including lead nurturing and sales development.
- Willing to work in any area of the business that can benefit the Group as required.
- Able to work with suppliers and negotiate special pricing.
- Proactive work chasing quotations and account management.
- Working with different systems processing orders and updating CRM systems.
