Due to continued success, this property, electrical & gas services provider is looking for an experienced Plumbing/Gas/Heating engineer to join the team.
They are looking to recruit a conscientious and enthusiastic engineer who will take pride in their work. Ideally you will be located within a 10 mile radius of their St Helen's Office as some on call work will be required.
Applicants are required to have at least 3 years' experience in Diagnosing Faults and Repairing all aspects of Plumbing and heating systems. Centralk heating installation work will also be required
What will this role involve?
- Carry out basic fault finding and repair, including fitting new pumps, motorised valves, radiators and adapting pipework as necessary
- Gas servicing in accordance with manufacturers / industry guidelines
- Delivery of gas repairs and servicing in both occupied and void properties
- Complete appropriate certification in accordance with client and regulatory body requirements
- Central Heating and Boiler installation
- Out of hours call out duties as per rota requirements
What are they looking for?
- City & Guilds, NVQ level 2 or equivalent
- ACS qualifications CCN1, CEN1, HTR1, WAT1, CKR1, and C&G 6084 Energy efficiency (essential)
- Unvented cylinders (desirable)
- Current full UK driving licence (No more than 3 Points)
- Good general numeracy and literacy
- Good time management
- Required technical skills
- At least three years' work related experience
- Good knowledge of current industry practice
- Problem solving
- Own tools (Test equipment will be provided)
