Telephone Sales Manager - Competitive & realistic OTE package - Based on experience. Based in Halfway, Sheffield - this role is full time and office based.

One of the UK's leading manufacturers of towbars and towing accessories is seeking a Telephone Sales Manager to assist in the continued rapid growth of the business in the UK and Ireland.

Working into the Sales Director, this role will be managing a small team of outbound call Telephone Sales Executives, whilst supporting growth in one of the key divisions of the business through managing, and delivering pro-active new business calling, sales campaign execution and some existing account growth. This is an office not a call centre environment.

It is combined role, requiring day to day operational management, training /coaching and actual call execution skills and would suit someone with previous outbound call supervisory experience seeking their first managerial role. There will be a significant requirement to deliver extensive outbound telephone calls as well as for the design delivery of direct sales campaigns initiated by the business.

This is a key sales management role that would suit someone with;

- Strong supervisory / management skills, ideally generated in an outbound calling environment
- Excellent telephone sales skills in an outbound call environment
- A positive and dynamic attitude
- Excellent data management skills
- Practical experience of sales campaign design and delivery
- Practical experience of CRM systems
- Data and project management skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Training /coaching experience

Technical knowledge and experience of both manufacturing, and specifically the towbar industry is not essential as support and training will be provided but it may be desirable in the right candidate. The capacity to inspire and motivate a small team to work effectively and efficiently as part of the growth strategy for the business is much more relevant as a requirement, as is a proven track record of success in a similar sales supervisory / management role.
