VOLUNTEER PROJECT CO-ORDINATOR

We seek an energetic, dynamic, enthusiastic individual who appreciates the value and importance of supporting local people to have an active voice to influence and shape local services and opportunities that impact on their lives.

Do you have a warm approach that makes every individual feel valued and  welcomed?

Are you passionate about giving everyone equal opportunity in spite of who they are, where they’ve been; where they are now….. and where they aspire to be ?

Are you empathetic of where people are within their own situations; understand their starting points and what it is that inspires them to desire change through active involvement in their community including volunteering opportunities?

Do you possess the self-belief, drive and determination to advocate and support individuals even when situations are so challenging that the easier option would be to walk away?

Have you the imagination and positivity to believe that there are different ways of doing things and to seek innovative solutions to meet individual needs and aspirations?

Do you possess an intuitive level of interpersonal skills to enable you to ‘read between the lines’ to decipher what people are really saying with the ability to sensitively explore and clarify with individuals, encouraging them to take control of their own situations and equipping them to accomplish their aspirations

If the above sounds like you, we’d love to hear from you.  You would need to hold a relevant professional qualification at a minimum Level 3.  You will also have a minimum of 2 years experience supporting volunteers.

Closing date: Monday 24^th October at 9am

Interviews will take place on Wednesday 26^th and Thursday 27^th October
