Job Description:

About the Role RCM, in general terms, is a methodology that is used to formulate cost effective preventive maintenance schedules and is applicable to many sectors. Each sector has idiosyncrasies and specific guidelines for completing a study but the fundamentals are generic. The RCM Analyst is at the forefront of the process and is expected to study and understand sometimes unfamiliar systems in order to identify how they might fail. Communication is a key skill as an Analyst will have to interact with operators, maintainers, designers and fellow consultants/analysts with the ability to robustly support their own conclusions. Travel is required, with notice, to customer sites. This is a training/development role suited to a seasoned engineer looking for a more office based role within the engineering field. Person Specification You will: - Have at least 5 years of experience working in a hands-on engineering maintenance role - Have a good understanding of mechanical/electrical failures and their potential effects - Be able to interpret system schematics and engineering drawings - Have led or taken part in complex fault diagnosis - Possess excellent communication skills - Be particular, meticulous, logical and methodical in your approach to work - Be able to travel, with notice, to customer sites - Be able to use the Microsoft Office suite of programmes to an advanced level The successful candidate must be able to attain security clearance to SC level which will be sponsored by Aspre. Qualifications (Or equivalents) - BTEC - City and Guilds - NVQ Level 3 - HNC, HND or equivalent in a relevant engineering discipline may be advantageous
