Lecturer in Initial Teacher Education (Secondary History PGCE)
Full Time Permanent (Applications for a secondment would be considered)
Salary: Grade 7 (Lecturer) £33,574 - £38,896

The post-holder will be expected to work closely with the Secondary PGCE team and in particular the humanities teacher education staff to provide an excellent learning experience for student teachers, taking advantage of recent relevant teaching experience as appropriate. A central part of the role will be to enhance student teachers’ knowledge and understanding of teaching Secondary History (11-18) including A level. The post-holder will contribute to a number of modules on the Secondary PGCE programme at Swansea and may contribute to programmes of professional learning at PG level as appropriate.
